Recipe Ingredients for brown rice with vegetables

1 cup brown rice
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrot
1/2 large red onion
2 tbs. parsley
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup water
3 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes

Recipe Directions for brown rice with vegetables

finely chop celery and carrots. slice onion. sautee with e.v.o.o. pam, salt, pepper, and red pepperflakes. and broth and simmer. add brown rice, broth/veg mixture to casserole dish. dot top with butter if desired. bake at 375 for about 30 minutes until edges are brown and liquids absorbed.
