Recipe Ingredients for Brown rice and quinoa pilaf

1/2 cup raw brown rice
1/3 cup raw quinoa
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon tarragon
1/3 cup white wine
1 1/3 cups vegetable broth

Recipe Directions for Brown rice and quinoa pilaf

  1. Add oil, onions and mushrooms to saute pan. Cook until onions are soft.

  2. Add rice and rinsed quinoa, stir until rice is slightly browned (just a couple minutes)

  3. Add the rest of ingredients, cover and cook on medium low until grains are done.
