Recipe Ingredients for Brown Rice Quiche

1 apple
1 orange
1 cup broccoli
1/2 cup cabbage
1 cup brown rice
1 slice onion
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup collard greens
3 eggs
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Canola oil

Recipe Directions for Brown Rice Quiche

  1. Use Ninja blender to blend cabbage, broccoli, onion, garlic and collard greens

  2. Put two tablespoons Canola oil in rice cooker

  3. Add the ground veggies to rice cooker, add the uncooked rice.

  4. Cook in rice cooker until done.

  5. Mix with one egg.

  6. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  7. Use Pam in Pyrex pie plate. Put cooked rice mixture in the plate, pushing sides up to make a crust. Bake about 7-10 minutes at 450 degrees

  8. Chop orange (leave skin on) and apple.

  9. Mix with one egg.

  10. Add 3/4 cup milk to orange and apple mixture.

  11. Pour into slightly cooled rice crust.

  12. Sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on top.

  13. Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes.
