Recipe Ingredients for Brown rice pilaf

1 cup brown Basmati rice
2 c asparagus
3 garlic cloves
1/3 cup slivered almonds
2 tbs olive oil
1/3 cup spring onions, chopped
1/4 cup parsley, dried
1 cup mushroom, sliced
3 cups chicken broth, low sodium

saute rice & veggies in olive oil. add liquid, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until all liquid is absorbed
