Recipe Ingredients for Brown Rice Miso Soup

10 cups water
4 tbsp miso paste
5 cups green cabbage, chopped
1 cup white mushrooms, sliced
1 cup frozen green peas

Recipe Directions for Brown Rice Miso Soup

Add 9 Cups of water to large pot and begin to heat. Microwave last cup of water for 60 seconds and stir in miso paste until dissolved. Add to remainder of water. Add vegetables and simmer until miso flavor is developed and vegetables are soft. Serve plain, with brown rice or whole wheat noodles.
