Brown rice, lentils, and vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Brown Rice and Lentils

2 cups uncooked brown rice
1 cup uncooked lentils
1 large onion
4 tbl minced garlic
4 large carrots
1 bell pepper
2 stalks celery
4 cups chicken stock
2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Brown Rice and Lentils

  1. Saute onions, garlic, carrots, bell pepper, celery pan sprayed with Pam. Set aside.

  2. Cook rice and lentils in the chicken stock and water until done, about 40 minutes. Add sauted vegetables to the rice and lentils. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
