Recipe Ingredients for Brown Rice Garbanzo Burgers

2 cup Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds
1 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked
1 large Egg, Whole
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 clove Garlic
4 tsp Classic Dijon Mustard
8 leaf, large Lettuce, Butterhead

Recipe Directions for Brown Rice Garbanzo Burgers

  1. Blend garbanzo, rice, egg, onion and garlic to form a paste.

  2. Shape into 4 equal patties.

  3. Cook in OO over medium heat, 4 min per side until cooked through.

  4. Serve with mustard and sliced red peppers on top, wrapped in 2 leaves of lettuce.

  5. Yum!
