Tilapia fillets that are lightly seasoned, then broiled or grilled.

Recipe Ingredients for Broiled Tilapia

3/4 pounds tilapia, fresh
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 tablespoon capers
1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh squeezed

Recipe Directions for Broiled Tilapia

  1. Rinse fish. Pat dry and place in glass dish.

  2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over fish.

  3. Let marinate for about 20 minutes.

  4. For oven broiling:Set oven to broil. Place fish on broiler pan. Place on rack about 4 inches from broiler. Cook until fish is flakey.

  5. For barbecue: Pre-heat grill. Place fish in grill basket. Grill until fish is flakey.
