A really tastey light but filling white fish dish. You will love the flavor!

Recipe Ingredients for Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

1 pound tilapia fillets
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/2 tablespoons mayonaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice (or vinegar)
1/8 teaspoon dried basil
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon onion powder

Recipe Directions for Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

  1. Set out one pound tilapia fillets (I use 4-4 oz).

  2. Mix all other ingredients together to make topping.

  3. Broil tilapia fillets 2-3 minutes on each side.

  4. Cover with the parmesan mixture and broil 2 more minutes, letting the topping brown and so that the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  5. Serve one fillet per person.
