Light and tangy salmon with miso glaze; serve with ginger rice and bok-choy

Recipe Ingredients for Broiled Salmon with Miso Glaze

1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 tablespoon miso paste
2 tablespoons mirin
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced ginger root
1 1/4 pounds salmon fillet
2 tablespoons scallions, sliced
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro

Recipe Directions for Broiled Salmon with Miso Glaze

  1. Whisk miso, mirin, soy sauce, ginger in small bowl until smooth. Place samlon, skin-side downon broiler rack coated with foil. Brush with miso mixture and broil, 6-8 minutes.

  2. Transfer salmon to warmed plates, and garnish with the sesame seeds, scallions and cilantro.

  3. Serve with ginger rice and steamed bok-choy.
