Nice tofu and Broccoli stir fry for lunch or side dish for dinner

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli and Tofu Stir-Fry with Toasted almonds

16 oz tofu
4 c broccoli florets
3 tsp sesame oil
8 green onions
3 cloves garlic
1 jalapeno pepper
3 1/2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp almonds

Recipe Directions for Broccoli and Tofu Stir-Fry with Toasted almonds

  1. Place tofu on plate top with cutting board and some wt. to squeeze the water out. About 30 min.

  2. Lightly steam broccoli until crisp-tender about 5 min.

  3. Heat 2 tsp oil in wok over high heat. When hot, add tofu and cook, stirring constantly 5 min to brown. Transfer to plate

  4. Add 1 tsp oil to wok, followed by green onion, garlic, pepper and broccoli. Stir fry 2 min over med high heat. Stir in soy sauce, almonds and tofu, and gently toss to combine. Can be server over brown rice
