Crunchy, tangy salad. Lots of textures. Okay, need to add 3/4 cup of Mayonnaise to this recipe. I would do Light Mayonnaise in order to keep the the calorie and fat down. Unfortunately, would not let me analize with Mayo. This will need to be added to the sugar and vinegar.

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli Salad

2 Tspn sugar
1 Tbspn Red Wine Vinegar
2 cups broccoli, chopped
1 red bell pepper
1 small red onion, chopped
6 oz bacon, cooked and chopped
1/4 cup pecans
1/2 cup raisins
1 egg
10 olives

Recipe Directions for Broccoli Salad

  1. Mix the first 3 ingredients together for dressing.

  2. Mix the chopped broccoli, red bell pepper, red onion, cooked bacon, pecans and raisins.

  3. Then pour over the dressing.

  4. Add chopped hard boiled egg and garnish with olives

  5. Stir all ingredients together and chill.
