Recipe Ingredients for broccoli salad

1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 red onion, diced
2 tbs dijon mustard

Recipe Directions for broccoli salad

  1. cut broccoli into florets

  2. add to boiling water for 30 seconds to 1 minute

  3. removed and place in ice bath to stop cooking

  4. add cooled broccoli, chopped onions and shredded carrots to a bowl

  5. mix in mustard and salt and pepper to taste
