Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli Rice Salad w/Sesame-Ginger Dressing

1 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain
16 oz Broccoli
0.5 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
0.25 cup Almonds Sliced
2.67 oz Rice Vinegar
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 fl oz Water
2 tsp Ginger, Ground
1 clove Garlic
0.13 tsp Pepper, Red Or Cayenne
15 oz Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds

Recipe Directions for Broccoli Rice Salad w/Sesame-Ginger Dressing

  1. Cook rice in whatever way you choose, then set aside to cool.

  2. Steam broccoli until just tender, about 5 minutes; add broccoli, chopped red pepper and almonds to cooled rice.

  3. Combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, water, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes in small bowl; pour over rice mixture and toss to combine.

  4. Refrigerate until completely chilled and enjoy.
