broccoli, washed and broken into small pieces 1/2 cup red onion, chopped 1/2 cup dark raisins 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1 cup mayonnaise 2 tbs. white vinegar 2 tbs sugar 2 tbsp. sunflower seed kernels cvt

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli Raisin Salad

3 cups broccoli, washed and broken into small pieces, may blanch if desired
1/2 cup red onion, chopped
1/2 cup dark raisins
2 tbsp unsalted sunflower seeds
1 cup light mayonnaise (may sub half plain yogurt) (4641)
2 tbsp white vinegar
2 tbsp sugar

Recipe Directions for Broccoli Raisin Salad

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the mayo, vinegar and sugar. Set aside.

  2. Place the broccoli, onion, raisins and sunflower seeds in a bowl. Add the dressing and toss well to coat. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 1 hour before serving.
