Healthy salad using raw vegetables.

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli Raisin Salad

10 oz raw broccoli floret
1/4 medium red onion
1/8 red bell pepper
1/4 c sunflower seeds
1/4 c raisins
1/4 c lite mayonnaise
1/4 c Splenda no calorie
2 tbsp red wine vinegar

Recipe Directions for Broccoli Raisin Salad

  1. Cut florets to size desired. Finely chop onion and red pepper. Mix vegetables with sunflower seeds and raisins in medium non-metallic bowl.

  2. Combine mayonnaise, Splenda and red wine vinegar in seperate small bowl. Mix until smooth and add to salad items.

  3. Toss to distribute dressing evenly and coat all items. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes, or up to overnight.

  4. Can sprinkle crisp bacon bits over individual portions when serving; not included in calorie count.
