Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli pita pie

4 cup, chopped Broccoli
6 sheet dough Phyllo Dough
1 serving Cooking Spray All Varieties
2 large Egg, White
2 large Egg, Whole
8 oz Part Skim Milk Ricotta Cheese
0.5 cup, crumbled Feta Cheese
0.5 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
1.25 cup, chopped Onions, Spring Or Scallions
6 tablespoon Mint
5 sprigs Dill Weed, Fresh
1 tablespoon Oregano
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Broccoli pita pie

  1. Preheat oven 325 degrees.

  2. Coarsely chop the broccoli. Cook the broccoli in a pan of boiling water for about 3 minutes. Drain.

  3. For the filling mix the cheeses with the eggs then add the milk and remaining ingredients.

  4. Next, layer 3 sheets of phyllo at the bottom of an 11X15 jellyroll pan, using cooking spray in between the layers. Spread the broccoli evenly over the phyllo. then pour the filling over the broccoli. Layer the remaining sheets of phyllo on top using the spray between layers.

  5. Bake for about an hour.
