This is taken from a Campbell's cookbook but has been revised to make it lighter.

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli and Pasta Bianco

16 oz. penne pasta
4 c. fresh or frozen broccoli
10 3/4 oz. 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1 1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Broccoli and Pasta Bianco

  1. Prepare the pasta according to the package directions. Add the broccoli during the last 4 minutes or the cooking time. Drain the pasta and broccoli well in a colander.

  2. Stir the soup, milk and black pepper in an 11x8 inch (2 qt.) shallow baking dish. Stir in the pasta mixture and 3/4 c. of the mozzarella cheese and 2 tablespoons of the Parmesan cheese. Top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

  3. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until hot and the cheese melts.
