Egg noodles with broccoli in a light butter sauce

Recipe Ingredients for broccoli noodles

6 oz. whole wheat egg noodles, cooked
2 tbsp margarine spread
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cups broccoli, steamed
2 medium bell peppers, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1/2 cup whole milk
1/8 cup parmesan cheese
1 tbsp all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp dried rosemary
1/4 tsp dried parsley

Recipe Directions for broccoli noodles

  1. Saute onion, peppers and garlic in a large pot with olive oil.

  2. Add steamed broccoli and spices.

  3. Add cooked egg noodles and margarine.

  4. Stir together.

  5. Sprinkle in flour.

  6. Add milk and parmesan cheese.

  7. Stir until thickened.
