Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli Gruyere Au Gratin

12 cups broccoli
4 tbsp butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 cups half and half
8 oz gruyere
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Recipe Directions for Broccoli Gruyere Au Gratin

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Steam Broccoli for about 5 mins. Remove from heat and place is baking pan.

  3. Melt butter over medium heat; slowly add flour, stir constantly.

  4. Add half and half, stir until thickens about 5 mins.

  5. Once thickened, remove from heat, add 1 cup of cheese and seasonings. stir until well mixed.

  6. Pour sauce over broccoli (toss if desired).

  7. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.

  8. Bake for about 35-40mins. Let sit for 10 mins before serving. ENJOY!!
