Veggie salad, served with 3 cherry tomatoes & a sprinkle of roasted sunflower seeds (no salt) on top.

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli/Chestnut Salad

5 cups broccoli, raw
8 oz water chestnuts, drained
6 oz ripe olives, drained
1 tbl onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
6 oz cherry tomatoes
3 tbl sunflower seeds

Recipe Directions for Broccoli/Chestnut Salad

  1. Cut broccoli into dime size flowerets (no stems)

  2. Option to use a portion of cauliflower

  3. Drain & cut sliced chestnuts into quarters

  4. Drain & cut small ripe olives into thirds

  5. Amount of onion and garlic to taste

  6. Toss & marinate in Veggie Salad Dressing, overnite

  7. Serve in small saucers with cherry tomatoes (cut in quarters) on top.

  8. Sprinkle (tsp) of sunflower seeds, last.
