Broccoli and cheese soup.. will need to add 2 tablespoons of flour above.. but it could not compute that in the recipe analysis

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli and Cheese soup

8 oz Fat Free Half ( 1 cup)
16 oz Broccoli ( 1 pound)
2 tbsp Butter ( could use 1)
1 cup Cheddar Shredded Cheese
14 oz Vegetable Broth
40 Shallots
2 tablespoons of flour

Recipe Directions for Broccoli and Cheese soup

  1. Directions:

  2. Prep Time: 2 mins

  3. Total Time: 22 mins

  4. 1 Place broccoli and 3/4 cup water in microwave safe dish, Microwave broccoli until fork tender (about 6 min on high).

  5. 2 Meanwhile in sauce pan, saute shallots until clear.

  6. 3 When clear, add flour to pan and stir until flour cooked Add broth and 1/2 cup of broccoli water and 1/4 of broccoli spears.

  7. 4 Mash entire mixture with a potato masher.

  8. 5 Bring to a rapid boil.

  9. 6 Boil for about 3-5 minutes.

  10. 7 Decrease heat, add rest of broccoli spears (whole), half and half and cheese.

  11. 8 Stir until cheese melts.

  12. 9 Season to taste with salt and pepper and enjoy.
