Broccoli and Cauliflower with Garlic

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli and Cauliflower

1/2 cup, chopped Broccoli
1/2 cup (1" pieces) Cauliflower
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 oz Red Onion
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice
0.5 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Broccoli and Cauliflower

  1. ?16 ounces broccoli florettes

  2. ?1 tablespoon butter

  3. ?1 tablespoon roasted walnut oil or olive oil

  4. ?2 cloves garlic, finely minced

  5. ?1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

  6. ?2 teaspoons lemon juice

  7. ?1/2 teaspoon salt

  8. ?Dash black pepper

  9. Steam the broccoli just until tender.

  10. In a small saucepan, heat the butter and oil; add minced garlic, red onion, and lemon juice. Cook just until tender. Toss with the broccoli along with the salt and pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings.

  11. Serves 4.
