10 tbsp Unsalted Butter
48 oz Cauliflower
24 oz Broccoli, Cooked
2 tsp Salt, Table
0.5 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
48 oz 2% Reduced Fat Milk
1/4 tsp Cayenne
8 oz Cheddar Cheese
8 oz Bread Crumbs, Dry, Grated, Plain
2 tsp Essence
2 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Broccoli and Cauliflower Au Gratin

cook broccoli and cauliflower until crisp tender and layer in buttered casserole dish. cook flour and butter together for 4 minutes slowly stir in milk and cook until thickened....add salt, cayene and then cheese. remove from heat stir until melted. pour over veggies. mix bread crumbs, oil and essence and sprinkle over veggies and cheese. bake at 350 for 30 min or until hot and bubbly.
