Asian inspired stir-fry with sesame oil

Recipe Ingredients for Broccoli-Carrot-Ginger Stirfry

2 c broccoli
3 medium carrots
1/2 onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp peanut oil
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Broccoli-Carrot-Ginger Stirfry

  1. Chop broccoli into fluorettes. Chop carrots. Slice onion. Mince garlic and ginger, then sautee these two in peanut oil for 15 seconds on medium-high heat.

  2. Add broccoli, carrots and onion plus 2 T of vegetable broth, lower heat, cover for 3 minutes. Take off lid, raise heat, and stir-fry until excess liquid is gone.

  3. Add soy sauce and mix. Take off heat. Add sesame oil and 1 T toasted sesame seeds.
