Recipe Ingredients for Brit's Maple Stout Quick Bread

1.75 cup All-Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
0.5 tsp Baking Powder
3 grams Coarse Kosher Salt
6 tbsp Butter
6 oz Light Brown Sugar
2 large Egg, White
0.5 tsp Vanilla Extract
4 oz Beer
4 oz Fat Free Sour Cream
5 tbsp Organics 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Powdered Sugar

Recipe Directions for Brit's Maple Stout Quick Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level. Combine flour, baking soda and powder, and salt, stirring well with a whisk. Place butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl; beat at high speed until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine beer, sour cream, and 1/4 cup syrup, stirring well with a whisk. Beating at low speed, add flour mixture and beer mixture alternately to butter mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture; beat until just combined.

  3. Scrape batter into a loaf pan coated with baking spray. Bake at 350 for 43 minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 min. in pan on wire rack. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.

  4. Place powdered sugar in a small bowl. Add remaining 1 Tbl. syrup; stir until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread.
