Recipe Ingredients for breakfast strata

1/2 pound italian sausage
3 onions, diced
1/2 cup fat free milk
6 eggs
8 slices french bread
12 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for breakfast strata

  1. spray 2 8-inch silicone pans with cooking spray. Line each pan with 4 pieces french bread.

  2. divide crumbled cooked sausage in half and sprinkle half over each prepared pan of bread slices.

  3. combine eggs and milk and whatever spices you want in a mixing bowl. pour 1/2 of mixture over each pan of bread.

  4. top sausage and egg-soaked bread mixture with 6 ounces shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes until set.
