Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Quinoa

1/2 cup water
1/4 cup quinoa
1/2 cup apples
1/4 cup raisins
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp water

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Quinoa

  1. Combine water and quinoa in a medium saucepan.

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to medium-low.

  3. Cover and simmer 15 minutes, then let stand, covered, 5 minutes.

  4. Chop Apples and mix with raisins, sugar and cinnamon. Add 2 tbsp water and simmer until apples are at preferred consistency and the cinnamon sugar has thickened.

  5. Mix with quinoa, add some extra cinnamon, if desired, and enjoy!
