Breakfast granola. DELICIOUS mixed with berries and yogurt.

Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Granola

1/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c honey
1/2 c olive oil
1/2 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/2 t coconut extract
1/2 t almond extract
4 c rolled oats
4 T ground flax seed
1/2 c coconut
3/4 c slivered almonds

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Granola

  1. Heat oven to 325.

  2. Combine oats, flax seed, coconut and slivered almonds in food processor. Set aside

  3. Combine honey, brown sugar, olive oil, salt, cinnamon and extracts in a saucepan and cook on low heat. Stir and cook till sauce is an easy, syrupy consistency.

  4. Pour syrup mixture into food processor and then pulse till small beads form.

  5. Spread mixture on a rimmed baking sheet and place in oven for 10 minutes. At ten minutes, stir again and cook for another 10 minutes.
