Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast fruit & nut cookies

1/2 cup brown sugar
3 egg whites
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup bran flakes
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup dried figs
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup almonds

Recipe Directions for Breakfast fruit & nut cookies

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. combine sugar, oil & egg whites.

  3. stir in chopped fruits and vanilla.

  4. combine dry ingredients except almonds.

  5. add dry and wet ingredients.

  6. add almonds.

  7. drop by scooper on baking sheet.

  8. bake for 12 minutes or until almost set.

  9. cool on pans and transfer to wire rack to cool completely before storing.
