An attempt to devise a nutritious breakfast item that my daughter would eat with complaining. In addition to ingredients below, I also add 1/4 cup stevia

Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast cookies

1 cup white flour
1/4 cup soy flour
2 cups oatmeal
1/2 cups brown sugar
1 egg
2/3 cups unsweetened applesauce
6 tbsp butter
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup raw almonds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Breakfast cookies

  1. Cream butter and sugar

  2. Add all wet ingredients and spices

  3. Add all dry ingredients

  4. Bake 375 for 10 -12 minutes
