Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Cookies

1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp allspice
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ginger
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp orange rind
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups oats
3/4 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1 cup dried cranberries

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Cookies

  1. put flour, baking soda, salt, allspice, cinnamon and ginger in a bowl.Mix well and set aside.

  2. Beat eggs, oil, applesauce, and brown sugar.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

  4. On baking sheet, place 1/4 cup of mixture for each cookie and use a fork to press into a circle approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

  5. Bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes.
