Recipe Ingredients for breakfast casserole

6 slices bread
1 pound sausage
1 cup cheddar cheese
2 cups half and half
6 eggs
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for breakfast casserole

  1. layer bottom of pan with bread

  2. add 1 pound of cooked sausage, spread evenly

  3. add 1 cup cheddar cheese, spread evenly

  4. pour 2 cups of half and half over top

  5. whip 6 eggs, pour on top

  6. season with 1 tsp salt (optional)

  7. cook 40 to 50 m inutes at 350F
