Easy delicious casserole, perfect for holiday breakfasts or brunches

Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Casserole

10 eggs
4 cups whole milk
12 slices italian bread
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb sausage
10 oz mushroom
3 medium slices bacon

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Casserole

  1. slice loaf of bread in half long ways and place halfs in 13x9 casserole dish

  2. brown sausage in skillet

  3. spread sausage and mushrooms over bread

  4. mix eggs and milk together and pour over sausage and bread

  5. top with cheese and crumbled bacon

  6. place in fridge overnight

  7. when ready to bake, bake at 350 covered for 45 minutes, uncovered for 15 minutes
