A delicious, crowd pleasing dinner. I got the recipe from my mother in law. To reduce calories, bulk pork sausage can be replaced with any variety of veggies

Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast casserole

288 g Pillsbury Crescent rolls
3/4 c milk
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 lb bulk pork sausage
2 c shredded mozzarella
6 eggs

Recipe Directions for Breakfast casserole

  1. Crumble sausage in medium skillet. Cook over medium heat and drain well.

  2. Line the bottom of a buttered 13x9x2 dish with crescent rolls, firmly pressing the perforations to seal

  3. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese

  4. Combine remaining ingredients, beat well, and pour over sausage and cheese.

  5. Cook at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, until bubbly and the crust begins to brown.

  6. After cooking, let stand for 5 minutes and serve immediately

  7. (can be frozen)
