Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Casserole

5 slices of whole wheat bread
6 eggs
1/4 cup low-fat milk
5 links sausages (breakfast - pre-cooked)
1 cup low fat cheese

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Casserole

  1. Spray baking pan with olive oil and preheat oven at 350.

  2. Break bread into pieces and distribute evenly.

  3. Beat eggs, milk and any spices you desire (salt, pepper, garlic or onion powder?) and pour over bread. (I have also added sliced green onion)

  4. Add the remaining ingredients and bake for 25 minutes or until top is golden brown and a knife put in the center comes out clean.

  5. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
