Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Casserole - Overnight

1 pound ground chicken
8 eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1 teaspoon salt (or seasoning salt)
1 teaspoon ground mustard (optional)
6 slices whole grain bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Casserole - Overnight

  1. In a skillet, brown chicken; drain and set aside.

  2. In a large bowl, beat eggs; add milk, salt and mustard.

  3. Stir in bread cubes, cheese and chicken.

  4. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish.

  5. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

  6. Remove from the refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

  7. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
