Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Bread Rolls with Spelt from Olga's Healthy Choice

60 g whole grain flour
60 g spelt
30 g unbleached flour
20 g dry yeast
1 pinch sea salt
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Bread Rolls with Spelt from Olga's Healthy Choice

  1. Let the dry yeast dissolve in luke warm water (1 cup) for about 10 minutes,

  2. Pure flours in a large bowl, add salt and dissolved yeast. Make a soft dough by adding some more water if needed.

  3. Cover the bowl with a kitchen film and let it rest for about at least and hour in room temperature.

  4. Preheat oven for about 15 minutes (250 oC electrical oven).

  5. Prepare baking tray laying baking paper. Take the doug from the bowl and put in seven pieces using some unbleached flower on the board in order to prevent sticking the dough.

  6. Roll the pieces and place them on a baking tray.

  7. If desired, you can decorate your bread rolls with some seeds or nuts.

  8. Bake your rolls in the preheated oven for 10 minutes at 250o C then lower the heat to 200oC and bake 20 minutes more.
