Recipe Ingredients for breakfast bread

1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup bran
1 cup soy flour
1/4 cup instant milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp fresh ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp powdered ginger
3/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup flax seeds

Recipe Directions for breakfast bread

  1. Cream butter and sugar.

  2. Add eggs, then molasses.

  3. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternating with the yogurt (dry, wet, dry, wet, dry).

  4. Fold in walnuts and raisins.

  5. Pour into greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes.
