From Raley's Gocery Store Summer Magazine- '09

Recipe Ingredients for Breakfast Bars

2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup rasins
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flax meal
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup almond butter
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 large eggs

Recipe Directions for Breakfast Bars

  1. Combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients and mix well with spoon or hands. Pat frimly into a lightly oiled pan and bake.

  2. Bake in 9x12 pan at 350 for 20 minutes. Cut into 24 bars as soon as removing from oven. Let cool completely before removing from pan. Store in airtight container or freeze.
