When you want to indulge, try this yummy bread pudding!

Recipe Ingredients for Bread Pudding

2 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 eggs
8 slices whole wheat bread
1/2 cup raisins

Recipe Directions for Bread Pudding

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Heat milk and butter until hot.

  3. Mix sugar, cinnamon and eggs in large bowl. Stir in dry whole wheat bread. Stir in milk mixture and raisins

  4. Pour into ungreased 8x8 inch pan. Place pan in 13x9 inch pan and pour boiling water into 13x9 inch pan until 1 inch deep.

  5. Bake uncovered 40-45 min.

  6. Enjoy warm with ice cream and caramel sauce.
