Recipe Ingredients for Bread Pudding

330 g Bread
225 g Sultanas
75 g Demerara sugar
75 g beef suet
400 ml skimmed milk
2 eggs
4 tsp mixed spice

Recipe Directions for Bread Pudding

  1. Break bread into a large bowl and cover with milk

  2. Weigh bread down with a plate or saucer and leave to soak for an hour or more

  3. Mix milk/bread and stir in other ingredients; mix well

  4. Pour mixture into a lined loaf tin

  5. Bake at 1800 C for between 1 and 1 hours (until skewer comes out clean from centre)
