Recipe Ingredients for Bread Pudding

8 slices whole wheat bread
1 ounce fat free sugar free vanilla pudding
2 c nonfat milk
0.66 c egg substitute
2 T cinnamon
2 t nutmeg
2 t cloves

Recipe Directions for Bread Pudding

  1. Use the cook and serve vanilla pudding. Preheat oven to 365.

  2. Pour egg substitute in a bowl. Add spices. Stir.

  3. Cube bread slices.

  4. Heat milk on medium on the stove. Add vanilla pudding mix. Stir continuously until pudding begins to boil. Remove from heat immediately.

  5. Pour pudding into egg mixture and stir. Add bread cubes and allow them to soak up the liquid.

  6. Pour mixture into a square baker or pie pan. Place into a baking dish and fill the baking dish with 2 inches of water.

  7. Bake at 365 for 40-45 minutes. Check by inserting butter knife in center. If it comes out clear, it's done. If not, leave in an additional 5 minutes.
