Recipe Ingredients for Bread, no-knead

3 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached

Recipe Directions for Bread, no-knead

  1. Mix 3 cups flour, 1/4 tsp instant yeast, 1.25 tsp salt, and 1.5 c tepid water in bowl.

  2. Cover and let rest 12-18 hours.

  3. Pour onto floured surface.

  4. With floured hands, pat and shape the dough.

  5. Sprinkle wheat bran on towel.

  6. Place dough

  7. Preheat dutch oven or pyrex container.

  8. Cover with lid and bake 30 minutes at 500 degrees.

  9. Look for caramelized, split, dark crust and lots of air holes inside.

  10. Let rest on rack.

  11. For shorter fermentation (3-4 hours), make water almost hot, and add 1/4 tsp red wine vinegar, and let rest 1/2 hour before baking.
