Recipe Ingredients for Bread: New York Style Pizza Dough

1 1/2 c warm water
4 1/2 c flour
1 T olive oil
2 1/2 t sugar
2 1/2 t salt
1/2 t instant yeast

Recipe Directions for Bread: New York Style Pizza Dough

  1. Mix ingredients with a spoon and let sit 10 minutes or so.

  2. Start mixer and let knead for 10 min. Dough will be quite slack (wettish) and sticky. This is good for it makes for a great light crust.

  3. Put to rise for a 1-2 hours.

  4. Take a clump and pat it out thin on flour, top with ingredients and bake at 525 degrees or on the grill. If you use the grill, don't top until you flip it.
