Makes 3 small loaves which make 8 slices each. 1/2 a loaf for one meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Bread machine dough

2 cups unbleached bread flour
1 cup unbleached all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon dried fat free milk
2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
2 1/2 teaspoon dried yeast
2 tablespoon flax seed
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for Bread machine dough

  1. Add all ingreadients except the water to the bread machine pan.

  2. warm the water to luke warm (warm to cold if you put a finger in it) and add it to the mix.

  3. put bread machine on dough setting.

  4. Once complete knead the dough (knock down) to get all the bubbles out of it and and divide into three.

  5. Put in the loaf tins and leave covered with a thin towel for 45 minutes.

  6. Place in pre-heated oven at 350F for about 30 mins or until slightly brown.

  7. Allow to cool then store each loaf in a brown bag and a zip lock bag. They will keep for about 3 days.

  8. Best way to use each loaf is to cut it in half and put one half back in the bag.

  9. Slice the remaining half into half then each half into half to give 4 slices (8 slices per loaf).
