Easy and delicious collard greens

Recipe Ingredients for Brazilian-Style Collard Greens

40 oz Collards
4 1tsp Olive Oil
0.5 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
3 clove Garlic

Recipe Directions for Brazilian-Style Collard Greens

  1. Halve leaves lengthwise from collard greens and remove stems and center ribs.

  2. Stack leaves and roll into cigar shape, Cut crosswise into very thin strips (1/8 inch wide).

  3. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat, add half the garlic, then cook half the collards, tossing, until tender and bright green - about 1 minute. Transfer to dish.

  4. Cook remaining garlic and collards in same manner, then toss all with salt & pepper.
