A Brazilian friend's recipe ... quick, easy and delicious.

Recipe Ingredients for Brazilian Rice and Beans

1 cup rice
5 ounces Italian sausage
1 teaspoon olive oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
15 1/4 ounce black beans

Recipe Directions for Brazilian Rice and Beans

  1. Prepare rice.

  2. Cook sausage and drain/pat fat off.

  3. Saute onion and garlic. Add black beans, cooked sausage and pepper to taste. Cook until onion is soft.

  4. Serve over rice.
