Recipe Ingredients for Brazilian Cheese Bread - Pao de Queijo

1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup water
1/3 cup soymilk
1 tsp salt
2 cups tapioca flour
3/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tsp Ener-G egg replacer
4 tbsp water

Recipe Directions for Brazilian Cheese Bread - Pao de Queijo

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Boil the olive oil, salt, water, and soymilk in a pot. Remove it immediately and add it to the flour in a large bowl.

  3. Prepare the egg replacer by mixing the 3 tsp of powder with 4 tbsp water. Mix it with a fork until it is frothy and creamy.

  4. Add garlic powder, egg replacer, and black pepper to the flour mixture. Stir to combine.

  5. Add nutritional yeast; stir to combine.

  6. Make small 1-inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned.
