Recipe Ingredients for Brazilian black beans

3 1/4 cup Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
21 oz Fyfga Beef for Stew Chuck Round or Loin
2 medium Onions
2 tsp Adobo

Recipe Directions for Brazilian black beans

  1. soak beans overnight according to package directions.

  2. drain the soak water from the beans

  3. put the beans in a pressure cooker and add fresh water so that the beans are covered by 1/2 inch of water.

  4. add the 1 1/3 lb of stew meat and heat the beans on medium high until the pressure cooker begins to fizzle

  5. reduce the heat to medium and cook the beans for 20 minutes.

  6. turn off the stove and allow the pressure cooker to to cool down.

  7. remove the lid and add chopped onion and adobo. cook over medium heat until the onion is cooked through.

  8. serve over rice.
